ROYALTY paid a visit to Great Missenden today to officially launch a new hospital cancer centre.
Princess Alexandra unveiled a plaque at state-of-the-art The Misbourne Suite based at The Chiltern Hospital.
She met staff and was presented a bouquet of flowers by a patient Christine Peel, who has being receiving treatment for breast cancer.

Princess Alexandra, who is the youngest granddaughter of King George V and Queen Mary, said to those present: "May I congratulate you all. I am very impressed with what you have shown me." She thanked staff and patients and added: "I wish you well for the future".
She signed the hospital's visitors' book before leaving.
The £150,000 refurbishment increases capacity and incorporates new private patient rooms and 'pods' where those being treated can relax in a chair and watch TV or surf the internet while they are there.
