Forensic teams investigate cause of death in flat fire

POLICE remain on the scene at a flat where a woman died in a fire last night.
Forensic investigation teams have moved in to look into what happened at the property in Fallowfield, Hazlemere, just after 6pm.

Firefighters were called to the property following reports of a blaze and discovered the body of a 57-year-old woman in the upstairs bathroom.
The cause of death is currently unknown and Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service are investigating the cause of the fire.
A post-mortem examination is expected to take place later today.
