FIREFIGHTERS have been trying to reasurre residents by providing fire safety advice in Hazlemere today after a woman died in a flat blaze.
A 57-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene in Fallowfield at 6pm last night. An investigation has been launched by Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service and Thames Valley Police.

POLICE remain on the scene at a flat where a woman died in a fire last night.
Forensic investigation teams have moved in to look into what happened at the property in Fallowfield, Hazlemere, just after 6pm.

A FIRE investigation has been launched after a woman died in a blaze.
Firefighters were called to a flat alight in Hazlemere last night, where they discovered a body.

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted theft and conspiring to commit fraud by false representation at a Great Missenden Bank.

A LITTLE Missenden man, his two friends and a dog have completed their charity quest to recreate an epic adventure on the River Thames.

A PRESTWOOD man who went missing for three days has been found safe and well.
Sean Malloy, 38, was found in Flackwell Heath yesterday.
He went missing after being last seen at the George and Dragon pub, in Flackwell Heath on Monday afternoon and police spoke of increasing concerns for his safety.


POLICE are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing Prestwood man.
Sean Malloy, 38, was last seen at the Green Dragon public house, Blind Lane, Flackwell Heath on Monday afternoon and has not been seen since.

CLAIMS of 'dictatorial management' by a headteacher and deputy headteacher at a Great Missenden secondary school have left pupils and parents stunned.
Reports in the national press claim that staff at The Misbourne School compiled dossiers against Jon Howard-Drake and his deputy Bea Bates.

HAPPY couple Jessica Bazzard and Jason Ollivier enjoyed their special day by riding on horseback through Little Missenden.
The horse-lovers were married at Little Missenden Church on July 25 and made a special entrance to their wedding reception on the animals which brought them together.
