Gt-Mis-Phil-Vickery.jpgCelebrity chef Phil Vickery pulled in the punters when he turned up to open a new business venture on Saturday in Prestwood.
Mr Vickery, who lives in nearby Great Kingshill, did the honours when a new butchers shop, The Fine Meat Company, on the Wycombe Road, opened its doors to the paying public at the weekend.

Villagers in Great Missenden will celebrate Christmas on Saturday (Nov 29) with a Victorian themed evening which will involve traders and residents. The evening commences at 5pm until late.
It is a number of years since the village formally closed off the High Street to welcome visitors for a Dickensian-type evening, something which lends itself particularly well to a picturesque village with a narrow High Street.

Prest-James-Boyle.jpgRoads campaigner James Boyle has taken up the verbal cudgel to argue the case against what he claims is a dangerous pedestrian crossing in the High Street, Prestwood.
The crossing, which was built six months ago, is a cause for concern, he says, because people park on the zigzag markings and even on the crossing itself.
